Ladybarn Men

St. Chad’s Church in the parish of Ladybarn in Manchester was awarded a grant from the Lottery Heritage Fund to mark the centenary of the First World War by commemorating the men of their community who lost their lives in the fighting.

Working with a local historian we created a temporary exhibition display and accompanying book, combining a general overview of the war with the very personal profiles of the men of the community who fought and died during the four year war.

Alongside archive photos and text by a local historian we created infographics and additional photography.

The exhibition was installed in St. Chad’s Church from 2014 – 2018.
